BriBoard, by NotePro · Last updated 29 September 2026
BriBoard is a notes and ideas app. This page explains, in plain words, what information the app keeps, why, and how you stay in control of it.
What we store
- Your account: the username and password you choose. Passwords are stored only in scrambled (hashed) form by our database provider; nobody can read them.
- Your profile: your birthday and, if you add one, a profile picture.
- Your content: the notes, cards, chapters, documents, tags, pictures, videos and voice memos you create, plus your app settings (colours, font and so on).
- Telegram guard (optional): if you connect Telegram, we store your Telegram chat ID and display name so we can send you log-in alerts.
- Log-in information: when someone logs in to your account, we record the time, the kind of device/browser and the IP address, and send them to your Telegram (if connected) so you can spot and ban anyone who isn't you.
- Account recovery (optional): if you add a recovery e-mail, we store it to send you one-time codes. Backup codes are stored only in scrambled (hashed) form, so nobody, including us, can read them.
- Install count: the first time BriBoard opens on a device it sends one anonymous random ID and whether it came from the Microsoft Store, the website or a browser. It isn't linked to your account or name.
- Days you use the app: when you open BriBoard we note the date (not the time or what you do) so we can count how many people use it each day.
- Website visits: briboard.app counts page visits and clicks (for example on the Microsoft Store button) as simple daily totals. No cookies, no IP address and nothing that identifies you is stored.
- Reviews and feedback (optional): if you rate BriBoard or send feedback, we store your stars, text and username. A review only appears on briboard.app, with your username, after the developer approves it; you can change it anytime. Feedback is only seen by the developer, who may reply inside the app and on your Telegram.
What we don't do
- No ads, no ad tracking, and no selling or sharing of your data.
- No analytics that follow you around the web.
- The microphone is used only while you press Voice Mode or Record Memo. While Voice Mode is on, your speech is turned into text either by your browser's own speech service (Microsoft, Google or Apple), or, on laptops where that doesn't work, by BriBoard's voice engine: the recording is sent securely to our server and to Groq (which runs the Whisper speech model) only to get the text back. We don't keep the recording after that. A recorded memo is saved only as part of the note you pin.
Where your data lives
Your account and notes are stored in a secure online database run by Supabase (servers in Singapore). A working copy is also kept on each device you're logged in on so the app is fast and works offline; logging out removes it from that device. Telegram alerts are delivered through Telegram. The app itself is served by Cloudflare.
Who can see your notes
Only you, when logged in to your own account. The database only hands notes to log-ins our server approved, and never to other users. The BriBoard admin can manage accounts (for example unlock one or help you recover it) but has no way to open or read your notes. If you choose Share on a document, the link you create contains a read-only copy of that document for whoever you give it to.
Your choices
- Download a copy of everything anytime: Settings → Notes & Data → Download a backup.
- Disconnect Telegram anytime: Settings → Account & Security → Turn off.
- Delete your account and all your data: email us from the address below with your username and we'll delete it within 30 days.
Children
BriBoard is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
